Make it easy for your friends to install Vivaldi on iOS.

If your friend has still not made the switch to Vivaldi on their iPhone or iPad, you can help your buddy out by sharing the App Store link with him, so all they’ll have to do is open the link and tap Install. To make sharing easier for you, we’ve added a quick share option in the main Vivaldi menu.

To share Vivaldi:

  1. Open the Vivaldi menu and scroll to the bottom.
  2. Tap on “Share Vivaldi”.
  3. Select how you want to share the App Store link.
  4. Follow the app’s guidelines.

It’s a win-win situation. Your friend will be forever indebted to you for recommending the best browser out there and you’ll be helping us, so we can continue doing even more cool stuff at Vivaldi.

With more and more new cars coming out with a tablet-like screen on their center consoles, being able to access the web from them just makes sense, and the Android version of Vivaldi for Android Automotive OS is perfect for it.

You can watch videos together while you’re waiting for your car to charge for the next leg of the trip, look for dinner inspiration while waiting for the kids at the school parking lot, read the news while the spouse is shopping, and so much more. For safety reasons, the browser can only be used while the car is parked.

To install Vivaldi in your car:

  1. Open the app store in your car’s infotainment system.
  2. Search for Vivaldi Browser and open the app’s page.
  3. Click “Install”.
  4. Launch the app and start exploring!

Vivaldi is available in an increasing number of new car models by Polestar, Renault, Volvo, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Audi, Lynk&Co, Ford, Lincoln, and more.

  2. Right-click on the tab to open the context menu.

Use an alternative option from Google Play to install Vivaldi on Android.

The most common and convenient place to install Vivaldi on Android is from Google Play. If you can’t or don’t want to use Google Play, there are a few alternative ways to install Vivaldi on your mobile device.

First of all, there are two alternative app stores you can choose from:

The second option involves downloading and installing the APK version of Vivaldi. Before you can install Vivaldi from an APK file, though, allow the installation of APKs either by enabling developer mode on your phone or by giving certain apps (like a browser app) permission to download and install APKs. If you don’t do that before, you’ll be prompted to change the settings once you open the APK file.

To install Vivaldi:

  1. Go to https://vivaldi.com/android/.
  2. On the page, click on “Don’t have Google Play?“.
  3. Download the APK file.
  4. Open the file on your mobile device.
  5. Click Install.

Please note that updates via .apk install are not automatic and you need to download and install the latest version after every new release. To ensure you are aware of the latest fixes and security updates, we strongly advise subscribing to our Newsletter or RSS feed, or following our official social media channels.

On Vivaldi Themes, click on “Download theme” to preview the theme before installing it.

When browsing themes.vivaldi.net for new Themes for your desktop Vivaldi browser, you can get a live preview of the theme by clicking “Download theme”.

Then you have 1 minute to see how the theme looks. Make sure to check the Start Page to see how the awesome background image looks behind your Speed Dials. Other places where the user interface colours are clearly visible are Panels, Settings, Mail, etc.

When you’re satisfied with the theme, click “Install” in the pop-up to add the theme to your Theme Library. If it’s not really what you were looking for, click “Cancel” or let the preview time run out.
